Habits and Behaviors

3 / 3

Our habits and behaviors shape the way we live our lives. When we consistently do something, we build momentum and create a frequency or vibration that our body becomes accustomed to, whether it’s good for us or not. This foundational vibration becomes a need for our body, and we crave it. We become so comfortable with this vibration that any shift or change can shock us.

When we encounter an issue that requires us to change on the spot or make a complete change, we go into a space of shock. Our body, in response to this shock, grips onto the first thing that can help keep it in the energy of doing. It’s like a lifeline, and we reach for whatever’s around us to keep moving forward.

This phenomenon is evident when we face death. Everyone who’s dying is gripping for life. No one wants to go, and they fight against it. Even in moments of peace, they cling to life. The body does not want to cease itself, ever.

I have seen this phenomenon firsthand. I have had a couple of people die in my arms, and I have witnessed deaths around me. Everyone I’ve seen die was gripping for life. The person I tried to perform CPR on was one of them. He showed signs of coming back, but he in the end he couldn’t maintain the breaths long enough to survive. I believe part of him was thinking, “I’m not ready,” but he was already too far gone.

The man I tried to save was a really good person. He was an agriculturist, an expert in herbs, a fisherman, and a musician. He had a wealth of knowledge and I wish I could have learned from him when he was not ill.

Our habits and behaviors are essential to our survival. However, it’s important to recognize when they’re no longer serving us and when we need to make a change. It’s not always easy, but it’s necessary.

To break out of our habits and create a new foundation, we need to be mindful and present in each moment. We need to be aware of our thoughts and behaviors and how they’re affecting us. We need to be willing to step out of our comfort zone and embrace change.

One way to do this is to identify our imbalances and take practical steps to resolve them. Imbalances can be physical or energetic, and they can manifest in different ways. For example, physical imbalances can lead to pain or discomfort, while energetic imbalances can lead to emotional or mental distress.

To identify our imbalances, it’s important to pay attention to our body and its signals. By listening to what our body is telling us and addressing the issues as they arise. Some practical steps to help bring balance to our imbalances include:

  1. Moving our body: Exercise and movement are great ways to bring balance to our body. They help release tension and stress and promote overall health and well-being.
  2. Eating a balanced diet: Our diet plays a significant role in our overall health. Eating a balanced diet that includes whole foods and avoiding processed foods can help bring balance to our bodies.
  3. Practicing mindfulness: Mindfulness practices such as meditation, deep breathing, Qigong or yoga can help bring balance to our mind and emotions. They help reduce stress and anxiety and promote a sense of calm and relaxation.
  4. Seeking professional help: If our imbalances persist, seeking professional help from a healthcare provider, NLP therapist, or other qualified professionals like myself can help us address the underlying issues.
  5. Making small changes: Making small changes to our habits and behaviors can help create a new foundation and bring balance to our imbalances. For example, taking a break from social media, going for a walk during lunch, or spending time in nature can all have a positive impact on our well-being.
